Tippy

Adoption Pending

Introducing Tippy. This beautiful girl is the momma to our Odd Measurements litter. She did a wonderful job raising her kittens and now that they’ve found homes and she’s been spayed, it’s Tippy’s time to shine.

This sweet girl is only 2 years old, and came from a home with multiple Siamese cats. She looks like she may be a Siamese mix because she has an adorable white tip on her tail (which isn’t characteristic of the breed) that one of her babies had also. However, she has some Siamese traits and will do well with someone who is familiar with the breed.

Tippy is a really lovely girl. All she wants is to be near you, or ideally touching you. She absolutely LOVES face rubs, and will let you know when she feels like it’s been too long since she received attention, or if the cuddle session hasn’t been long enough. Although she’s not specifically a lap cat, she loves to sit beside you and leave on you or touch you with her feet.

Tippy loves catnip toys and will toss them all around. Her play style isn’t all that intense. She’s give a whack of the ball or the spring, and she’s done. She’s a talker and loves to run around the house with a toy in her mouth, yowling. She’ll stop once she’s able to show off her prize.

She enjoys sitting on a cardboard scratch pad, and uses the upright tree to scratch. Tippy does try the furniture every once in a while, but she knows the word no very well. It will be important for her family to make sure they have lot of scratching posts and options for her so that she focuses on those to keep her nails healthy.

Tippy came from a multi-cat household and is used to having other cats around, although she seems perfectly happy to be on her own as well, provided she gets a lot of attention. She would like a family where there is someone around a lot to give her pets and cuddles. She will not do well in a home by herself with someone who works long hours.

We do not believe that Tippy will do well in a home with young children or with a dog. Older kids or teens may be fine for her.
