Meet Sebastiano del Piombo (the Italian painter). This little guy and his brother were born to a stray cat so they started their life on the streets. Although this means that they had to learn to fend for themselves at a young age, they are now playful, social, independent kittens who are ready to find their forever homes.

Both boys are playful kittens with a moderate energy level. While they can be held, they’re usually more interested in playing and exploring than cuddling. When they’re played out, they will sit on their foster mom’s lap for some snuggle time, but it doesn’t usually last long. They love to explore and are fairly independent.
Sebastiano and his brother, Vincent van Gough, get along well and could be adopted into the same home, but they are not especially bonded and could be adopted separately. However, they do really enjoy playing with other cats and we’d like to see them get adopted into homes where there are existing cats for them to be friends with. Neither kitten has any experience with dogs thus far.

Since these boys started life on the street, they are cautious of new things, and that includes new people. Therefore, they can be a bit shy when first meeting new friends. They warm up fairly quickly once they get used to you but they are nervous of loud sounds and fast movements so they will not be the right fit for a home with young kids. Calm, gentle, older kids may be Ok given a proper introduction. Since they can be a bit why when first meeting new people and exploring new environments, neither kitten will be the right fit for a first time cat-owner.
