This handsome boy is Louis, from our Jazz litter. He and his siblings were originally rescued as feral kittens, living alone outside. When they first came to us they were scared of people and didn’t really know how to interact. Their dedicated foster family has been working very hard to get them socialized and they are making wonderful progress, so it’s now time to find their forever homes.
Louis is the perfect mix of playful energy and loving affection. Whether chasing toys or curling up in your lap, he is happiest being close to people. Treats are a favorite, and Louis will happily purr away while snuggling or playing. As Louis Armstrong once sang, “When you’re smiling, the whole world smiles with you” — and that’s exactly the kind of joy Louis will bring into your home.
These kittens are sweet with the people they have learned to trust, but it will take them a little while to warm up in a new environment and with new people. It will be best for them to go to homes where there is already a friendly cat to help show them the ropes, or where they can be adopted in pairs so that they have a buddy. They are currently being fostered in a home with older children and have slowly been getting used to them. Their ideal home will be with adults or older kids, but they may do ok with kids under 10y if they are calm and cat savvy. The kittens are still learning about dogs and don’t have much exposure to them yet.
