This stunning beauty is Billie, from our Jazz litter. She and her siblings were originally rescued as feral kittens, living alone outside. When they first came to us they were scared of people and didn’t really know how to interact. Their dedicated foster family has been working very hard to get them socialized and they are making wonderful progress, so it’s now time to find their forever homes.
Billie is a soft, grey kitten who adores treats, pets, and playtime. She’s affectionate and cuddly, but also enjoys a little solo time to recharge after her adventures. With her gentle spirit and curious energy, Billie will bring love and laughter into any home. As Billie Holiday sang, “I fell in love with you the first time I looked into them there eyes. And you have a certain lil’ cute way of flirtin’ with them there eyes.” One look into Billie’s eyes, and you’ll understand — she’s impossible to resist.
These kittens are sweet with the people they have learned to trust, but it will take them a little while to warm up in a new environment and with new people. It will be best for them to go to homes where there is already a friendly cat to help show them the ropes, or where they can be adopted in pairs so that they have a buddy. They are currently being fostered in a home with older children and have slowly been getting used to them. Their ideal home will be with adults or older kids, but they may do ok with kids under 10y if they are calm and cat savvy. The kittens are still learning about dogs and don’t have much exposure to them yet.
