Beautiful Bellini is a sleek house panther who is ready to start a better life. She came to us from a hoarding situation, along with her litter of small kittens. Although Bellini was scared at the time, she has always been a very gentle cat. She is only about 2 years old and we know that she’s had multiple litters of kittens, so we suspect that she didn’t get the chance to be a kitten herself. She had always just been a mom, and hadn’t had the opportunity to be the center of attention. Now that Bellini has been spayed and is no longer raising kittens, she is ready to find the perfect home.
Bellini is a little bit shy and reserved, but she’s very sweet. As scared as she was when she first arrived, she never lashed out and always allowed us to cuddle her kittens. Bellini can still be a bit skittish when she hears loud sounds or see fast movements, but she is coming out of her shell and elicits attention and pets now. She doesn’t like her ears to be touched but a good bum scratch gets her purr motor going.
Since Bellini grew up in a home with such a large number of cats, she is most comfortable around other felines. Is is important that she goes to a home where there are other cats. Or, if you’re interested in Bellini but don’t have existing cats in your home, she would love to be adopted with her remaining kitten, Martini. The two of them have very similar personalities and get along well. Neither of these kitties have meowed yet so we’re not sure if they have voices beyond a purr.
Neither Bellini nor Martini are comfortable around children; they are looking for an adult-only home. They do seem to get along well with other cats and with the medium-sized dog that’s in their foster home.
