This incredibly handsome kitten is Fezzik. He is funny, playful, interactive, and will make a great addition to his new home.
Fezzik was rescued from a hoarding situation and has a really unique mix of physical and personality traits. His mother was a Domestic Longhair and his father is unknown. There is some Maine Coon in the genetic pool, and this can be seen in some of Fezzik’s features, but he’s a bit on the smaller side for the breed (so we’re not sure how much is in there.) When he was young, he was not properly socialized, and while Fezzik is very friendly now and likes people, his initial response to something scary is to run away. he recovers quickly, but it can take him a little while to trust people who have given him cause for concern. He will do really well in a home with adults or gentle teens, but since he wasn’t handled much during the beginning weeks of his life, he gets nervous around children.
Fezzik is a playful kitty who really enjoys running around. He plays with toys and with his friends. He would like to find a home where there are other cats that he can play with, or with one of his friends. He is great at both playing and cuddling, but he would probably fit better with a younger feline companion.
Since this sweet boy has such a long and fluffy coat, it will be very important that his new family is able to groom him regularly to prevent tangles and mats. Fezzik is Ok with being brushed, but he’s not always willing to sit still for very long. Brushing him when he’s tired is your best bet.
