This sleek, good looking kitten is Jet. He is estimated to be about 6 month old and he's a very snuggly boy. Although Jet was painfully shy when he first came into our care, it didn't take him long to realize that he was in good hands to and come out of his shell. Jet is now one of the sweetest, most cuddly kittens that we have. He never stops purring and has a very loud motor. He loves to play with his siblings and with his toys, but his favourite thing to do is to snuggle with his foster mom. This guy is an absolute Velcro cat. He loves to follow is fosters around, and never wants to be too far away. He would be happiest if his foster family would quit their jobs and just hang out with him all day long. Jet seems comfortable with dogs and with other cats, and although he's never been around children, he's fairly confident and will likely do just fine.

When Jet first came to us, he had upper respiratory and eye infections. He is in good health now, but he will always show some symptoms of his past. Feline upper respiratory complex is caused by Feline Herpes Virus, and in the same way that someone who had chicken pox as a child is prone to Shingles if they become stressed or ill as an adult, cats with FHV are prone to getting kitty colds in the future. Therefore, it will be important for Jet to be an indoor-only cat, and he may have symptoms such as runny eyes or sneezing at times in the future. It will be imperative that any existing cats in Jet's new home be up to date on their vaccines. If you are not familiar with FHV, please ask your vet about it to determine if this kitten will be a good fit for your home.
