Kamo Update

Kamo Update

Kamo first came to VPAS as a stray kitty who had sustained major trauma to her face, leaving her with a badly broken jaw and a damaged eye. She has been in VPAS' care for several weeks now and is doing well.

Kamo has had the surgery that she needed to repair her broken jaw. She is eating with gusto, she is no longer on any medications, and she is gaining back some weight. Kamo is permanently blind in her damaged eye, but at this time it appears as though she'll be able to keep it and does not need to have it removed.

Kamo is a very strong kitty who has healed remarkably quickly. She has a wonderful spirit and her gratitude is immediately evident upon first meeting her. She is extremely affectionate and just wants to be with people all of the time. We are excited to announce that Kamo will be headed to a foster home next week and should be ready for adoption soon.
