George's Story

George's Story

VPAS' newest arrival is George, a 7 week old puppy in dire straights. He was rushed to the hospital Nov 13th after being picked up & shaken by a large dog. Although George was lucky not to have any punctures or broken bones from his attack, he is painful & his neck/back is very swollen. George is able to sit up a little bit, and he is eating on his own, but he is not out of the woods yet. He's got a long road ahead of him. George is being monitored very closely by the veterinary staff and we're hopeful that he wont have any permanent damage from his ordeal.
