Introducing Truffle. This gorgeous house panther is a very loving girl who steals the hearts of everyone she meets. She’s sweet, she’s affectionate, and she’s a wonderful biscuit-maker. The perfect trifecta!
Truffle came to us from a home where the number of cats got out of control. Although her owner treated her well and cared about her, she was not able to provide Truffle the care that she needed in order to thrive. She made the difficult decision to rehome a number of her cats so that they could all live the lives they deserve to.
Truffle is a gentle soul who loves attention. She follows her foster family around to make sure they’re within eye-sight and asks for pets whenever she can. She loves making biscuits on blankets and snuggles up on a soft lap whenever it’s time for a good nap. Although Truffle is very snuggly, she’s young (about 2 years old) so has a playful side too. She really loves stringy toys. Truffle’s foster family says that she’s the perfect cat. She’ll do best in a house where someone is always around since she thrives on human affection.
Truffle is a big girl who really loves food. It’s important to that she receives regular meals of measured amounts to help keep her svelte. She may do well with an automatic feeder and the use of treat dispensing balls.
Although Truffle came from a home with a lot of other cats, she seems very content to be the only kitty. She is currently fostered with another cat from the same home and the two of them don’t care for each other. It may be that their personalities don’t mesh, but Truffle doesn’t seem very interested in having a feline friend. She will likely be perfectly content being the only pet as long as she has a human around all day for company.
