Agatha Needs Your Help

Agatha came to us after having a difficult start to life. She had been abused/neglected by her previous family and it took her quite some time to adjust to her new environment. Agatha has been doing very well since arriving at VPAS and she even has an adoption pending. However, tonight Agatha is at the emergency hospital waiting for surgery. She has been vomiting all day and was in quite a bit of pain. The vet is concerned that she may have a foreign body in her intestines, which could be fatal if left untreated.

The doctors need to stabilize Agatha and get her rehydrated before they can take her for surgery but we are anticipating that she will be able to have it done a bit later tonight. Unfortunately, the estimated cost of the x-rays, bloodwork, surgery and follow up care for Agatha is $7000-$8000.

Please help us get Agatha back up on her feet so that she can find the forever home that she deserves.
