Ricky (now Micah)

Ricky & his siblings came to VPAS at about 5 weeks of age. Their mother had stopped feeding them & they needed care to survive. They were very tiny & covered in fleas but they were little fighters. As soon as they were ready for adoption all of the pups were quickly adopted. Ricky (no Micah) has a new home in Whistler. Here is an update from his family:

I just wanted to let you know that Ricky is doing really great :) We've named him Micah and his first full day in Whistler has been a huge success!

Last night he wasn't a bit of bother, slept really well in his crate and is going to the door to let us know when he needs to pee. Today we went for a walk in the village and met lots of new people, smelled lots of new smells and played very nicely with other dogs. We had lots of attention from children of all ages wanting to pet him and he behaved wonderfully! He absolutely loves bounding around in snow, he can't get enough of it and he loves chasing snowballs - then he gets really confused about where they've gone when he mushes them back into the snow, haha. He's such a goofball.

Thank you for all the great work you have done with him, we're going to be a very happy family together.
