Stix Needs Your Help!

Stix Needs Your Help!

This is Stix & he needs your help. Last night he was hit by a car & now he has a badly broken leg. He is only 9 months old and we're trying our best to give him a chance at a normal life. The vet says that Stix' leg can be fixed with surgery but it will cost several thousand dollars all together (including the xrays and other critical care that he needed.) We are working hard to raise the funds needed to help Stix keep his leg so that he can live a normal life. If you can help, please click on the button below to make a donation.

We're an Approved Rescue!

Adopt-A-Pet.com has named Victoria Pet Adoption Society one of their Approved Rescues for 2013. We gained this seal by undergoing a screening process that included a look at our adoption process, our veterinary practices & our customer service. Thank you Adopt-A-Pet.com for recognizing the hard work that our volunteers do to make sure the animals in our care find great families to be their forever families.

Vanvouer Island Pet Expo

Pet expo 2.jpg

VPAS will be attending the Vancouver Island Pet Expo this year and we'd love to see you there. The Vancouver Island Pet Expo is the largest gathering of pet owners on Vancouver Island. It promotes responsible pet ownership and helps draw attention to abandoned pets available for adoption. Many pet-related businesses, adoption societies, and retailers will be there.

The VPAS booth will feature photos & bios of our adoptable pets, some great/unique fundraising items for sale, info & volunteers to help you find out how you can become an adopter, a foster parent, or a volunteer.
